Job summary

Sycuan is seeking a Kitchen/Busser-style helper to support our casino kitchen operations in El Cajon, CA. The role focuses on dishwashing, supplying clean utensils, and maintaining a sanitary work environment.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow English instructions. Training in health and safety is mandatory, with opportunities to join a caring hospitality team at the Sycuan resort and casino complex.

Qualifications

• County of San Diego Food Handler Card required.
• Dishwashing experience preferred.
• Custodial or janitorial experience advantageous.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen with a constant supply of clean pots, pans, utensils and dishware.
• Ensure kitchen safety by organizing dirty items and cleaning spills.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen by cleaning counters, shelves, walls, and floors.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized; dispose of trash as needed.
• Complete mandatory trainings including health and safety.
