Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and evaluates assigned kitchen, food production and food-service associates.
• Supervises cooks and hourly kitchen staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training and reviews.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Manages inventory by tracking use, waste and consumption and requisitioning products.
• Receives and inspects products and supplies for quality and quantity and maintains sanitation of equipment and area.
