Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino is seeking a skilled technician to install, service, repair, and maintain major kitchen appliances and related refrigeration systems. The role emphasizes safety, guest service excellence, and compliance with facility maintenance SOPs.

The candidate should have four years of paid kitchen appliance experience at a journeyman level, plus a valid NM driver’s license and appropriate trade certifications. A pre-employment background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Four years paid experience in kitchen appliance service and repair, HVAC work in a Journeyman capacity.
• A post-high school vocational certificate may substitute for two years paid experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects and repairs major kitchen appliances and related refrigeration systems.
• Diagnoses problems in kitchen appliances and performs preventive maintenance.
• Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records and writes up reports.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
• Reads blueprints and follows NEC/UMC codes and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
