Qualifications

• Four years of experience working directly with adolescents in criminal justice or social services.
• Knowledge of case management practices.
• Knowledge of interviewing and counseling techniques.
• Ability to provide counseling and guidance to others.
• Ability to conduct and document fact-finding interviews.
• Ability to develop case plans and supervise staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases, referrals, and assessments for youth and families.
• Represent the DJJ in court hearings and coordinate with attorneys.
• Perform risk/needs assessments and formulate supervision plans.
• Maintain JJIS records and case notebook documentation.
• Coordinate community resources and transition planning for youth.
• Provide crisis intervention and life skills support as needed.
