The Department of Corrections in Florida is seeking a Corrections Probation Senior Officer to supervise a specialized probation caseload, including youth offenders, drug offenders, and post-release supervision with potential on-site duties.

The incumbent may perform intake duties, train staff, and install electronic monitoring devices as required while maintaining comprehensive records and coordinating with local law enforcement for public safety.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Certified in accordance with Florida Statutes 943.13.
• All employees in the correctional probation officer classes shall be required to possess a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment.
• Notification process for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and maintain a specialized probation caseload.
• Perform intake, court liaison, trainer and electronic monitoring duties as needed.
• Maintain case records and document offender progress in electronic and hard copy systems.
• Coordinate with judiciary, prosecutors, law enforcement and service providers to ensure public safety.
• Provide counseling and guidance to offenders and conduct field/community supervision visits.
