Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of NCVIP processes and related approaches for employee development such as coaching, mentoring, discipline, and accountability methods.
• Working knowledge of subordinate staff positions, DAC/DCS goals, objectives, and policy.
• Working knowledge of the NC General Statutes, the Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission, and the Prisons.
• Hands‑on experience with case planning, structured intervention worksheets and delegated authority; knowledge of structured sentencing and motivational interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate administrative and programmatic operations for probation/parole and community supervision programs.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, and fiscal management within the district.
• Develop staffing plans to meet offender needs and supervise front-line staff.
• Ensure compliance with personnel policies, evaluation, and performance standards.
