Phoenix Union High School District 210 is seeking a JROTC Instructor/Senior to lead the JROTC unit, align curriculum with USACC and PXU standards, and oversee all co-curricular activities. The role requires strong leadership, instructional expertise, and compliance with district and state policies.

Qualifications

• US Army Officer with recent active service or reserve status.
• JROTC Instructor Certification (Phase 1) required.
• Coaching certification or equivalent experience within HS athletic programs.
• Current Arizona teaching certificate or eligibility.
• Arizona Driver's License.
• National Agency Check and Inquiry (NACI) clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the JROTC unit curriculum per USACC and district standards.
• Promote cadet leadership, academic growth, character education, and physical development.
• Plan, coordinate, delivery, and supervise co-curricular activities and events (ball, drill meets, color guards, bowls).
• Manage property and budget controls; administer cadet records (JUMS) and reporting.
• Serve as instructional leader and coordinator for service-learning initiatives.
• Communicate with district officials, staff, and families; ensure safety and compliance.
