Fort Worth ISD seeks a Senior JROTC Army Instructor for high school to lead the JROTC program in accordance with national, state, and district standards. You will guide cadets, coordinate curriculum, and supervise instructors, events, and cadet records.

The role emphasizes leadership, character development, community engagement, and adherence to Cadet Command requirements while managing budget and program operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Army JROTC instructor certification is required.
• Secondary education teaching certification is required.
• Texas Driver's License is required.
• Insurable by the District's insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Teach, assess, and document student progress and growth.
• Coordinate the national curriculum and lesson plans with other content areas.
• Develop thematic units and projects; deliver 180 hours of military-directed material.
• Teach and promote the Honors U.S. Military History Elective.
• Manage supply, budget, and accounts per Cadet Command regulations.
• Supervise cadet activities and maintain cadet records in the district system.
