Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Senior Army Instructor for the High School JROTC program. The role leads cadets and instructors, implements the national curriculum, and coordinates service learning, events, and competitions. The incumbent will manage administration and reporting per Cadet Command guidelines.

The position reports to the Director II - JROTC and is salary-scheduled with the district. A strong background in military education and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Senior Military Education completed for leadership grade.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the high school JROTC program in alignment with standards.
• Teach, assess, and document cadet progress and, when needed, tutor cadets.
• Oversee budgeting, supplies, and administrative duties for the unit.
• Administer cadet records and Cadet Command reports as required.
• Coordinate events such as drill meets, ceremonies, and service projects.
