Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Senior Military Service Instructor to lead the JROTC program at the secondary level. You will manage curriculum implementation, cadet records, budgets, and special events, while guiding instructors and cadets toward academic and leadership goals.

The role requires coordinating with Cadet Command, promoting community service, and maintaining communication with parents and school staff. Exempt, 219-day position in a district program.

Qualifications

• Requires teaching and leadership experience in a military-related program.
• Must align with national/state District standards for JROTC.
• Experience managing cadet records and budget controls recommended.

Responsibilities

• Teaches, assesses, and documents student progress.
• Implements the national curriculum and coordinates with other subjects.
• Develops thematic units and directs 180 hours of military instruction.
• Oversees supply, budget, and administrative accounts per Cadet Command.
• Supervises cadet activities and leadership positions.
• Communicates with families and coordinates cadet recruitment.
