Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Washington, DC, invites an experienced Senior Job Captain to support delivery of innovative design projects for diverse clients.

You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contribute to all phases of design, and provide construction administration support, leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in architecture.
Experience on retail projects strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related experience considered.
Proficient in Revit and knowledge of building codes.
Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

Lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams across all design phases.
Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for project documents.
Utilize resource groups for design and construction document preparation.
Assist the Project Manager with construction services and site visits.
Perform project code searches and analyses for each project.
Assist in preparing project schedules and reviewing budgets.
Provide submittal support for jurisdictional agencies.
Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.
