Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Columbus is seeking a Senior Job Captain to support delivery of innovative design projects for diverse clients. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contribute to all phases of design and provide construction administration support.

You will apply technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents and ensure smooth project execution while collaborating with clients, contractors and our dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the field of Architecture.
• Experience on industrial or commercial projects is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Revit skills.
• Knowledge of Newforma.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project to deliver contract documents for permits and construction.
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design.
• Preparation of design and construction documents.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services.
