Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Job Captain to lead project coordination, develop construction documents, and ensure code compliance across phases. You will collaborate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design and documentation.

You will provide AutoCAD and Revit support, apply building codes, and help manage schedules and budgets throughout design development to construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Architecture.
• Experience with retail projects preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with consultant teams across all design phases to deliver contract documents for permits and construction.
• Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for preparation of project documents.
• Utilize company resource groups for design and documents.
• Assist the Project Manager with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparation of project schedules and budget reviews.
• Support submittals to jurisdiction agencies and communicate with clients and teams.
