Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Job Captain in Newark to support the delivery of innovative design projects. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contributing to all design phases and providing construction administration support.

You will use your technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents and ensure smooth project execution with clients, contractors, and our team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architecture.
• Experience on industrial or commercial projects strongly preferred.
• Revit skills required.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with the consultant team for each project phase to deliver contract documents for permits and construction.
• Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for preparation of project documents.
• Utilize company resource groups for design and construction documents.
• Assist the Project Manager with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing project schedules and reviewing budgets.
• Provide assistance for submittals to jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.
