Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of JD Edwards experience to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable JDE solutions for manufacturing and distribution.

This on-site role requires splitting time between Shelby Township and Westland, MI, with weekly travel, a strong focus on process improvement, data quality, training users, and driving system enhancements to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong JD Edwards expertise, esp. in manufacturing/distribution modules.
• Technical understanding of JD Edwards with integrations and development tools.
• Problem solving with ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
• Project management experience to manage scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Excellent communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize requirements, and document test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Develop deep understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and supply chain processes and how JDE can support them.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and system utilization; measure results with KPIs.
• Design practical JD Edwards solutions with ERP development teams to address business needs.
• Provide user training and support to maximize adoption of new functionality.
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation while managing scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
• Maintain up-to-date process and user documentation and ensure data quality and consistency.
