Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of JD Edwards experience to optimize manufacturing and distribution processes.

You will translate business needs into JD Edwards solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery across both Shelby Township and Westland, MI facilities. The role requires strong relationship-building, independence, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards applications.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JD Edwards, with emphasis on manufacturing and/or distribution modules.
• Technical understanding of how JDE works with the broader technology environment (configuration, customization, integrations, and development tools).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business: understand needs, prioritize requirements, and turn them into clear solutions; document requirements, test cases, exceptions, and acceptance criteria; create process maps as needed.
• Know the Business: develop understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, production planning, supply chain and how JD Edwards supports them.
• Drive Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve processes, decision-making, and system utilization; measure results with KPIs.
• Design JDE Solutions: evaluate options and design practical JD Edwards solutions with the ERP development team.
• Support & Train Users: provide hands-on support and training and drive adoption of new functionality.
• Lead JDE Projects: own JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation, managing scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
• Keep Improving: bring best practices into the organization and turn them into measurable improvements.
• Maintain Documentation & Data Quality: keep process and user docs current and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Stay Current with JDE: track releases and new functionality; identify capabilities with real value.
• Support Security & Compliance: ensure JD Edwards processes meet security and regulatory requirements.
• Connect the Dots: act as JDE SME for manufacturing and distribution and align priorities across teams.
• Deliver Business Impact: enable growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase efficiency.
