Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst with extensive JD Edwards experience to partner with business stakeholders and translate needs into JDE enhancements and test criteria.

The on-site role covers Shelby Township or Westland, MI with weekly travel between sites and relocation support for non-local USA candidates. You will influence manufacturing and distribution processes and drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications

8+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards applications.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes and how JD Edwards can support them.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, and supply chain.
Ability to document requirements, test cases, exceptions, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable JD Edwards solutions.
Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and production planning processes and how JDE can support them.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, system utilization, and efficiency; measure results with KPIs.
Collaborate with ERP development teams to design practical JDE solutions addressing business needs.
Provide hands-on support and training to users to drive adoption of new functionality.
Lead JDE projects from requirements through implementation, keeping scope, budget, timelines, and quality on track.
