Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst to optimize its JD Edwards ERP environment in Shelby Township, MI, with weekly travel to Westland, MI. This on-site role will shape manufacturing and distribution processes by translating business needs into practical JD Edwards solutions.

You will partner with stakeholders, document requirements, and lead JD Edwards projects from initiation to delivery, while maintaining data quality and strong user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Business or related field.
• 3+ years of ERP Business Systems Analyst experience with JD Edwards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating with a global team across functions.
• Ability to manage scope, timelines, and priorities on projects.
• Willingness to commute/relocate to Shelby Township or Westland, MI, for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to document requirements, tests, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process maps and gain JD Edwards knowledge across manufacturing and distribution.
• Identify process improvements and measure outcomes with KPIs.
• Evaluate JD Edwards options and collaborate with ERP developers on solutions.
• Provide hands-on user support and training for JD Edwards enhancements.
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements to implementation, managing scope and budget.
• Apply best practices and drive measurable improvements across the organization.
• Maintain standardized process and user documentation and ensure data quality.
• Stay current on JD Edwards releases and industry best practices.
• Support security, change management, and outage tracking requirements.
• Serve as JD Edwards SME for manufacturing and distribution with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to building system capabilities that support growth and customer satisfaction.
