Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Sr. Java J2EE Tech Lead (P&C Insurance) to join our Bala Cynwyd, PA team.

The role leads AMS for a P&C insurance environment, overseeing production support, maintenance, defects, releases, and improvements while coordinating between client stakeholders and onsite/offshore teams. The ideal candidate has extensive Java/J2EE development and production support experience, domain knowledge in P&C insurance, and strong leadership in Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java 8, Camel, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMS for a Property & Casualty Insurance environment, overseeing production support, application maintenance, defect resolution, enhancements, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between client stakeholders and onsite/offshore delivery teams, guiding day-to-day L2/L3 support and incident/problem resolution.
• Perform technical and code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality delivery across environments.
• Adopt AI-assisted software engineering practices to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
