Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a seasoned OneShield Technical Consultant for a fully remote role in the US. Lead AMS for a P&C insurance environment, overseeing production support, enhancements, and releases with strong technical leadership and offshore collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with 8+ years on the OneShield platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with OneShield Designer, PAS, and Core 6.x or higher.
• Proven production support, maintenance, enhancements, and release management for OneShield apps.
• Expertise in Workflow Configuration, Business Rules, Rating, Data Modeling, DAP, UI Development, and Transformations.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policy lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, REST/SOAP, JPA/Hibernate, JDBC, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Agile development; leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite Technical Lead for the OneShield PAS; manage production support and incidents with SLA adherence.
• Analyze defects, perform root-causes, coordinate fixes, and implement preventive measures.
• Design and implement enhancements to OneShield components based on business needs.
• Lead development and customization of components such as Workflow, Rules, Rating, Data Modeling, UI, and Transformations.
• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and release support across environments.
• Mentor onsite and offshore teams, perform code reviews, ensure coding standards and security best practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions; support upgrades and deployments.
