Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build Java and Kotlin services for our IT Operations suite and ensure they run reliably at scale. You’ll tackle performance, scalability, observability, and recovery in a large cloud environment on AWS, collaborating with engineers to improve code and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience; strong Kotlin a plus.
• 4+ years of highly scalable systems experience.
• Experience diagnosing and improving reliability in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve Java and Kotlin services for IT Operations.
• Own reliability in production; investigate performance issues and improve services.
• Improve scalability by identifying bottlenecks in code, data access, and services.
• Enhance observability and incident response; support production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate across teams on design decisions, code reviews, and testing.
