Job summary

Luxoft in Jersey City is seeking an experienced Java/Spring developer to join our platform team responsible for securities data processing and workflow orchestration across web, desktop, and server environments.

You will implement new business and technical features, prototype ideas, and drive modernization of legacy components using Spring Boot, Groovy, and Kotlin while maintaining Linux and Windows deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Java SE and Java EE with at least 10 years of commercial experience.
• Deep Spring Boot, IoC, MVC, AOP, Security, Data, JDBC and Test knowledge.
• Solid SQL skills and Oracle database experience.
• Experience with Servlet containers (Tomcat) and application servers (WebLogic).
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with TeamCity and/or Jenkins; Linux/Linux Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and technical features for old and new applications.
• Prototype ideas and participate in modernization of legacy components.
• Configure and maintain Windows and Linux environments and deploy agents.
• Integrate components with internal and external client systems.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic).
• Monitor apps, logs and metrics; work with ELK and autosys tools.
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, IBM Urban Deploy).
• Automate routines with Groovy/Bash; write unit/integration/e2e tests.
• Design distributed, scalable microservices and load-balanced clusters.
