Job summary

Luma Financial Technologies seeks a Software Development Engineer to design and implement integrations with our platform. You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business teams to design scalable solutions, and ensure security by design for a fast-paced fintech environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of software development experience, strong Java/Spring Boot skills, and familiarity with cloud, CI/CD, and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience working in an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• API and Async streaming.
• Experience with production and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment best practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code and AWS Kiro.
• Good understanding of React frontend application is desired.
