Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Java specialist to design and implement software components for store and warehouse operations microservices and web applications used by fashion company employees.

The candidate should have strong Java skills, experience with Spring, Hibernate, and modern Java features, and be comfortable working in Scrum. Collaboration with customers and proactive problem-solving will be key in this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive coding experience in Java.
• Knowledge of Java 21 new features.
• Solid experience with the Spring framework.
• Solid experience in core Java (including data structures and multithreading).
• Experience with SQL and noSQL databases (performance optimization).
• Experience with Hibernate.
• Experience with event streaming and message queuing systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ or any other).
• Ability to propose design and implement changes in complex systems.
• Experience working in Scrum.
• Proactive position, ability to facilitate a discussion or involve a colleague in a task-related collaboration.
• Demonstrated professionalism with excellent communication skills tailored to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components according to business/functional requirements
• Support the integration testing of developed services
• Analyze existing system source code and propose improvements when necessary
• Support and monitor the team's services deployed in the Production environment
• Participate actively in Refinements
• Communicate with the Customer
