Job summary

Luxoft in Tampa, FL seeks a senior Java developer to enhance a securities data platform used by internal systems. You will work across web, desktop, services and Linux, using Java 8-11, Spring, Oracle and Angular, with Spring Boot for new microservices.

Responsibilities include building features, prototyping internal projects, and rewriting legacy components into scalable, stateless services. Strong CI/CD and Linux experience are required.

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial Java development experience.
Strong Spring (Boot, IoC, MVC, AOP, Security) knowledge.
Proficient SQL with Oracle databases.
Experience with Linux and CI/CD tooling.
Familiar with microservices and Spring Cloud.

Responsibilities

Develop features for existing and new applications.
Prototype internal projects and plan legacy rewrite with Spring Boot/Cloud.
Configure and maintain Windows and Linux environments.
Integrate components with internal and external systems.
Monitor servers (Tomcat/WebLogic) and troubleshoot issues.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, Urban Deploy).
Automate tasks with Groovy or Bash scripts.
Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
Design distributed microservice architectures across multiple servers.
