Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java to design and implement scalable solutions within the IT Operations product suite. You will help maintain and extend a cloud-based platform that serves millions of endpoints, while mentoring teammates and driving high-quality software across teams.

Location is flexible for US remote work with hybrid options in Austin, TX or Tampa, FL; strong expertise in Java, Spring, APIs, and scalable architectures is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with highly scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of OOP design principles.
• Experience with API design and RESTful services (Spring).
• Proficient in relational database design and development.
• Experience with caching systems.
• Data warehouse exposure and testing/automation tooling is a plus.
