NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed team focused on accelerating manifest-driven development for the NinjaOne platform. You will help build flexible experiences, from UI components to deeper integrations, with an API-first approach that scales to millions of endpoints.

The role supports hybrid remote work in the USA, with offices in Austin, TX, and Tampa, FL. You’ll work across Java, Kotlin, Python, C++, Golang, and Postgres, collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in Java software development for product applications.
• 4+ years building highly scalable software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development.
• Knowledge of RESTful design and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manifest-driven development to extend NinjaOne platform capabilities.
• Python development to create workers for third-party integrations.
• Java and Kotlin backend development to expose platform functions.
• Collaborate with AI workflow, server, and platform teams to achieve the team’s mission.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to build scalable, API-first software.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Other duties as needed.
