Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed team that accelerates platform capabilities through manifest-driven development. You’ll work on extensible UI and backend components, partnering with AI and platform teams to deliver scalable, API-first solutions.

The role demands experience across Java, Kotlin, Python, C++, Golang, and PostgreSQL, and a track record in building systems that scale for millions of endpoints in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications, or equivalent, with solid expertise in Kotlin.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable systems.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate software development.
• Experience with large-scale data structures and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Manifest-driven development to extend NinjaOne platform capabilities.
• Python development to create workers for third-party integrations.
• Java/Kotlin backend development to expose platform functions for extensibility.
• Collaborate with AI workflow, server, and platform teams to achieve mission.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews to build scalable, API-first software.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Other duties as needed.
