Job summary

NinjaOne, a Unified IT Operations Platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed team accelerating manifest-driven development across the platform. Your work will directly influence features and customer value, from UI components to deep integrations in a scalable cloud service.

You'll build extensible systems in a multi-language stack (Java, Kotlin, Python, C++, Golang, Postgres) and collaborate with AI, server, and platform teams to deliver high-quality, API-first software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Java experience with Kotlin expertise.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate software development.
• Experience with large-scale data stores and scalable architecture.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development.
• Caching systems experience; Redis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manifest-driven development to extend NinjaOne platform capabilities.
• Python development to create workers for third-party integrations.
• Java and Kotlin backend development to expose platform functions for extensibility.
• Collaborate with AI workflow, server, and platform teams to achieve the mission.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews; troubleshoot production issues across the stack.
