Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, Texas is seeking an experienced Java software engineer to join our data platform and AI governance initiatives. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

You will collaborate across platform, security, and product teams, prototype new AI agent capabilities, and drive robust observability, testing, and deployment practices while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience building scalable, distributed, and resilient applications.
• Experience with Gradle and large-scale software projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agent governance capabilities across AI platforms.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI agent capabilities; evaluate new frameworks.
• Collaborate with security and product teams to implement secure AI solutions.
• Contribute to observability with logging, metrics, and monitoring; document architecture.
