Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Software Engineer to deliver IAM capabilities across the platform, from infrastructure to UI. You will design APIs, models, workflows, and services, prototype with senior engineers, and collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to create scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes AI tooling usage, production-grade responsibilities, and adapting to a fast-paced, global team environment. Strong Java/JavaScript and cloud experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Design, build, test, and operate production services using Java, JavaScript, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and identity management.
• Experience designing APIs, RESTful services, data models.
• Turn requirements into production-ready designs and prototypes.
• Collaborate across time zones and teams to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI.
• Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Prototype solutions with senior tech leaders to turn ideas into features.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to deliver scalable outcomes.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, and documentation while maintaining judgment.
• Share knowledge and contribute to design discussions and code reviews.
• Adapt to evolving customer needs and technology trends.
