Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Data Platform team to define and implement AI agent governance across enterprise platforms. You will work on discovery, lifecycle governance, policy enforcement, observability, and secure integration of AI agents and enterprise resources.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, compliance and product teams, shaping governance concepts from design to production in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in data engineering related software engineering roles with hands-on data ingestion, processing and scalable pipelines.
• Strong data modeling and designing scalable data solutions for enterprise apps.
• Experience with BigQuery, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agent governance capabilities across AI platforms.
• Prototype and iterate on AI agent capabilities and adopt new frameworks and practices.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery with clear requirements and modular design.
• Advance Identity Governance capabilities including certifications and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Support and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Monitor AI agent performance, usage, and security across platforms.
• Implement secure AI solutions with proper authentication and least-privilege access.
• Contribute to observability with logging, metrics, and compliance for AI agents.
• Evaluate emerging AI agent platforms and governance technologies.
