Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Java applications.
• 7+ years in Java/J2EE with OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• 7+ years with Spring (Boot/ MVC/ Security) and Hibernate/JPA.
• 7+ years designing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• 7+ years with testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• 7+ years with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• 7+ years implementing DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins).
• 2+ years in federal/state government settings (preferred).
• 7+ years relational DBs (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL; NoSQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex, high-volume, low-latency Java applications for enterprise systems.
• Analyze systems to determine requirements and ensure designs meet business goals.
• Collaborate with product managers to define objectives and features.
• Contribute to all SDLC stages from analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve production issues including memory leaks and network failures.
• Suggest upgrades to Java infrastructure to improve performance and longevity.
• Support deployment of new features and ensure system stability.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Stay current with technologies and introduce applicable innovations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
