Job summary

Cloud & Things Inc. seeks a Back System Integration Engineer (Java) in Albany, NY (Hybrid) for a 34-month engagement.

The role designs, develops, integrates, and maintains enterprise Java applications and interfaces for the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Fair Hearings project, collaborating with leads, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive Java EE experience, Spring ecosystems, ORM, and experience in a health services

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise Java development and system integration experience.
• Experience with JEE, JMS, Web Services, and ORM (JPA/Hibernate).
• Experience with Spring APIs and frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring REST).
• Experience supporting an Integrated Eligibility System (IES) in a Health and Human Services context.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate enterprise applications and interfaces for the Fair Hearings project.
• Create client-facing and internal applications aligned with NYS business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into enterprise solutions and perform unit testing.
