Job summary

Leidos in Maryland seeks a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and run high-performance backend microservices using Java and the Spring Framework within an Agile DevOps environment. You will participate in scope, design, coding, and unit testing across the software lifecycle.

The role requires collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in a SAFe setting, deployment to cloud platforms, and implementing automated tests with JUnit, Python, and Bash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience with Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and DevOps in a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Java and Spring.
• Participate in software programming initiatives and code reviews.
