Leidos Inc in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Principal Java Developer to join our Intel Security Analysis Solutions team. You will contribute to agile development and O&M for mission-critical systems, across the full software lifecycle.

Design and implement high-performance backend microservices with Java/Spring, participate in architecture, code reviews, testing with JUnit/Katalon, and deploy in a cloud-based platform. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
• Java, Spring Framework, microservices, REST APIs, and DB integration.
• DevOps toolchains integration experience.
• JUnit testing and scripting in Python/Bash in Agile.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and cloud data services usage.
• Version control and issue-tracking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend microservices in Java/Spring.
• Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architecture.
• Support automated deployment and CI/CD within SAFe Agile practices.
• Develop, test, and validate software using unit tests and automation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align user stories and deliverables.
