- XML/JSON binding libraries (JAXB, Jackson, Gson).
- JUnit unit testing; GIT/Maven/Nexus; Eclipse; Bitbucket.
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace; MQ: WebSphere/ActiveMQ.
- JVM performance tuning; Groovy; OOP and Java design patterns.
- Distributed Java/J2EE/Web tech; familiarity with AI-assisted reviews.

This role is responsible for providing senior-level Java development, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and ensuring coding practices comply with software development standards. Qualified candidates will have experience through multiple software implementations and have developed depth and breadth in several technical competencies.
- Provide technical direction and oversight for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with MQ systems such as WebSphere MQ or ActiveMQ.
- Experience in performance tuning with a good understanding of JVM internals.
- Experience with Groovy.
- Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Java design patterns.
- Experience in distributed system development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies.
- Basic knowledge of AI agents and using AI for code reviews and writing.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse technical, business, and management teams.
- Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations.
- Analytical skills to break down requirements and solve complex problems.
