Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on JAVA/SpringBoot development experience.
• Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Hands-on experience in deploying applications into AWS.
• OOAD using common design patterns.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Experience in developing web applications using JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.

Java Backend Services Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 5+ Month

Role Overview

We are seeking a Java Backend Services Developer. This role involves managing Java/Java EE application development and contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The position requires defining site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications, setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Determine design methodologies and toolsets, completing programming using specified languages and software products.
• Deploy applications into AWS environments.
• Design and conduct tests to ensure application quality.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on JAVA/SpringBoot development experience.
• Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Hands-on experience in deploying applications into AWS.
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud and event-driven architecture, microservices, and DDD architectural style.
• Strong understanding of Terraform.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Java, Spring, Springboot.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience creating microservices.
