Job summary

UST in Mason, Ohio seeks an experienced Senior Java / Azure Developer with 10+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications. You will work across teams to build cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure services, with a strong focus on microservices and RESTful APIs.

You will lead architecture discussions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior developers, while ensuring security, reliability, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong experience in cloud-native application development and modernization.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Scrum Master or Agile Certification

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop, enhance, and support microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, and solution discussions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to project teams.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and high availability.
