Job summary

UST is hiring a Java Developer to design and implement enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will work with DevOps, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and performant solutions in cloud environments.

You will lead architecture and design reviews, mentor teams, and champion best practices for CI/CD and testing. Expect exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and multiple cloud platforms across a large, global organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Springboot for building scalable backend systems.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing; cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Java applications using Springboot and other related technologies.
• Design microservices that are scalable, resilient, and cloud-native.
• Utilize containers (Docker) and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Enforce CI/CD standards, version control, and code quality practices.
• Mentor teams on architecture, coding standards, and performance optimizations.
• Ensure systems are highly available and performant using cloud infra and orchestration tools.
• Develop API strategies (RESTful, GraphQL) and integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases.
