Job summary

UST is seeking a senior Java Developer to design and implement enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will lead architecture decisions, ensure scalable and performant solutions, and collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and DevOps to align with business goals.

Responsibilities include building cloud-native microservices, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and shaping CI/CD pipelines and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend systems.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing; strong cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring family; RESTful and GraphQL APIs; SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Build scalable, resilient microservices and deploy them in cloud-native environments.
• Use containers (Docker) and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Define and enforce CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and automated tests.
• Collaborate with product owners and DevOps to align with business goals and architecture.
• Mentor teams on architecture, coding standards, and performance optimizations.
