Job summary

Prediktive seeks a Software Engineer with strong Java and AWS skills to work remotely from Latin America on a long-term project for a fintech client based in Los Angeles. You will contribute to building a secure, scalable platform for financial advisors and clients, focusing on backend systems and API design.

The role requires deep experience in Spring Boot, authentication/authorization, and data security, with a track record of shipping reliable production systems and improving observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend focus.
• Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Spring Security, RBAC).
• Solid AWS experience (IAM, KMS/Secrets Manager, RDS/Aurora) and IaC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and roll out security and reliability improvements.
• Integrate platform security capabilities into Java/Spring Boot services.
• Harden APIs with authorization, input validation, rate limiting, and audit logging.
• Diagnose and optimize database performance and data migrations.
• Improve observability and remediate production incidents with durable fixes.
• Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Product teams to deliver high-quality remediation.
