Job summary

UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to contribute to projects for a global leader in financial services. You will design, build, and maintain software, own DevOps responsibilities, and drive high-quality, scalable applications.

You will work across the full SDLC, collaborating with product management and teammates to ensure performance, reliability, and timely delivery. The role offers remote flexibility within a multinational environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable software components.
• Own and operate deliverables in a DevOps model; ensure stability of produced software.
• Ensure best performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Work independently and in teams.
• Participate in full SDLC including QA and peer reviews.
• Align with Product Management goals and vision.
• Innovate within your technical area and team.
• Strong Java programming and API building skills.
• Understand all SDLC stages and architecture patterns (SOLID).
• Experience with testing types: unit, API, acceptance, load.
• Experience with SOA/MSA and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs; knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
• Experience with Gradle/Maven and Enterprise Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
