You will drive design, development, and deployment across multi-platform systems, collaborating with offshore teams and testers while championing security and best practices

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• 3–5 years in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, cloud development, RESTful services, and micro-UI.
• Proven coaching and mentoring experience.
• Strong system design experience for mid to enterprise-scale apps.
• Ability to translate architecture proposals into detailed design documents and roadmaps.
• Design for availability, resiliency, security, and performance.
• 1–3 years with version control, project management, and CI/CD tools.
• Proficient in IDEs and version control repositories.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex, multi-platform application systems.
• Coach and guide a scrum team on Java and Cloud Development platforms.
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality, comprehensive unit testing, and adherence to best coding practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Spearhead Proof-of-Concept projects to establish reusable patterns and drive architectural innovation.
• Lead agile ceremonies and technology solutioning across teams.
• Develop high-level designs and architecture documents, securing approvals.
• Provide independent leadership to the development team, coordinating with offshore teams and testers.
• Champion security and deliver robust, scalable, high-performing solutions.
• Configure automated builds and deployments via CI/CD tools.
• Write comprehensive unit tests for all code implementations.
• Contribute to automated pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Adhere to best development practices and guidelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to support team objectives.
