Job summary

Citi is hiring a Senior Java Developer in a Hybrid role based near Rutherford, New Jersey. You will contribute to large-scale, high-performance systems in Credit Risk Technology, leading development efforts and mentoring junior engineers.

You will own CI/CD workflows, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and robust monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. A strong focus on security and collaboration across teams is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java development experience and strong systems knowledge.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline development and optimization using industry tools.
• Design and manage containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Enforce security best practices across pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless delivery of software.
• Lead root cause analysis and preventative improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
