Qualifications

• 6-10 years hands-on Java backend development with OOP and design patterns.
• Proficient with Spring Boot, JPA, Cloud, JDBC, Hibernate; Java 8+ features.
• Experience transforming data formats: XML, JSON, CSV.
• Extensive microservices experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kafka, TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ is desirable; secure file transfer.
• SQL and NoSQL databases; MongoDB preferred; Oracle/PostgreSQL familiarity.
• Experience with Kafka Streams / Flink; Agile with TDD/BDD; JUnit/Mockito.
• DevOps knowledge; CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, UrbanCode, SonarQube.
• RESTful/GraphQL APIs design and security; WebSocket preferred.
• Git/Bitbucket; strong communication, analytical, leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into UI/software solutions with Product teams.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure designs are flexible and scalable.
• Work with development teams to build complex solutions aligned to architecture.
• Coordinate integration and testing (CIT, SIT, UAT) to ensure quality.
• Understand architecture and make technical trade-off decisions.
• Develop extensible solutions; optimize and remove bottlenecks.
• Provide mentoring to junior engineers.
• Maintain application hygiene and address Risk & Control items.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, BAs, users to deliver projects.
• Work independently; communicate risks and issues.
• Handle code releases in various environments.
