Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a seasoned Java Application Support Engineer to deliver L2/L3 production support for enterprise Java applications in our California operations. You will monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability.

This role requires strong Java expertise, ITIL-aligned incident management, and experience with databases, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Java enterprise apps in production.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with SQL databases and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications and APIs.
• Monitor health and performance using observability tools.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and apply fixes.
• Support deployments, releases, and environment management.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices, and batch processes.
• Collaborate with Development, Infra, and Business teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and operation procedures.
• Support ITIL processes including change, incident, and problem management.
