Job summary
VALCE T@lent Solutions is seeking a senior production support engineer to provide L2/L3 support for Java applications, troubleshoot across Java, Unix, and database layers, and implement code and script changes in Java, shell, and Perl. Qualifications
- 7-10 years of hands-on development and production support experience.
- Advanced Java/J2EE skills, including REST APIs, servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring.
- Experience with application servers and databases (Tomcat/JBoss/WebSphere/WebLogic; DB2/Oracle/Sybase).
- Unix and scripting proficiency; tooling: Autosys, Procmon, crontab, Git, Jenkins, Jira, ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2+/L3 production support for Java applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Java, Unix, and database layers.
- Make code and script changes in Java, shell, and Perl as needed.
- Monitor jobs and production tooling, including incident and change workflows.
- Execute end-to-end production fixes following SDLC processes.
