Job summary

VALCE T@lent Solutions in the United States is seeking an experienced Java professional to provide L3 production support for Java applications and to implement production changes following SDLC processes.

The successful candidate will monitor schedulers, manage incidents and changes, and collaborate with teams to ensure application stability and high performance. Requirements include 7-10 years of hands-on Java/J2EE development and strong Unix scripting, with experience in DB2/Oracle.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years hands-on development experience.
• Advanced Java/J2EE experience (REST API, servlet, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, Spring).
• Advanced experience with Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere and WebLogic.
• Advanced hands-on experience with DB2, Oracle and Sybase.
• Mid to advanced Unix and shell/Perl scripting.
• Experience with Autosys, procmon or crontab.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins and ServiceNow or Jira.
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for Java applications
• Make Java, Unix and database code changes in production following SDLC process
• Monitor job schedulers and manage incidents, problems and changes
