Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the IV&V team in Richardson, TX, supporting NC3/SAOC program activities. You will work on complex military communication systems, applying systems engineering across the full lifecycle and collaborating with distributed teams.

You will develop and validate system models, document hardware/software solutions, support technical discussions, and resolve issues while mentoring teammates and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience writing requirements specifications or executing verification/qualification test events.
• Typically requires a STEM degree with minimum 5 years of experience or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance; ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, verification and validation for large complex systems.
• Mentor team members on functional, interface and performance specifications.
• Identify architecturally significant requirements and risk areas; manage scope and schedule.
• Apply SysML to system modeling across the engineering lifecycle.
• Lead technical proposals and reviews; act as subject matter expert.
